Republican O'Connor
Enshrines Collectivism

Once again, a Republican-appointed Supreme Court Justice (Sandra Day O'Connor) assisted the socialist left wing in reconstructing American society in its own own image.
Today, June 23, Justice O'Connor joined leftist Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a 5-4 majority ruling in Grutter v. Bollinger upholding the use of race in a public law school admissions policy. See entire decision at http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=000&invol=02-241
As long as "race" continues to be taken into account in any governmental policy, the more balkanized our nation will become. Classifying people based on racial or ethnic lines is socialist collectivism.
Collectivism is a cancer to our American heritage, and will only fuel racial intolerance and disunity within our nation.
The Declaration of Independence states the Christian principle that all men are created equal.
All men are created in the image of God, are equally fallen and alike human.
No one person is more fallen or human than another.
Any governmental policy that gives extra consideration or grants bonus "points" to one applicant solely because that person was born with a particular shade of skin tone is a policy that rebels against our Declaration and our Christian heritage.
Today's Grutter ruling, which upholds such a racist policy, enshrines anti-Christian collectivism in its shameful hall of precedent and cultivates a seed to our nation's demise.
O'Connor's decision in today's ruling also demonstrates how today's Republicans cannot be trusted to appoint Supreme Court justices that will stand eyeball-to-eyeball with the racist liberal lunatic left.
President Theodore Roosevelt, a Republican from yesteryear, summed it up nicely:
"The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities."
